Cookie Policy (EU)
Last updated: November 1, 2026
Complianz manages your choices for optional storage and services. Use the site's cookie preferences control to accept, refuse, or change individual categories. Refusing optional measurement does not prevent you from browsing resources or using ordinary account and aquarium features.
Necessary functions
WordPress login/session cookies, security checks, and the cookie-choice record support requested functions and protect the website. Cart and checkout storage is used when you request those features. Cloudflare Turnstile supports account security; the contact form includes Google reCAPTCHA. Fluent Forms also uses CleanTalk's browser detector and enabled spam checks. These security services can process technical device and request signals; they are separate from consented analytics. If protection cannot load, email contact@aquariumlesson.com instead. Google sign-in is a separate authentication choice, not analytics consent.
Requested newsletter confirmation and preference-management pages may set FluentCRM's fc_hash_secure cookie for up to 90 days to recognize that email-preference session. This is separate from the site's Statistics and Marketing choices. Our integration disables newsletter open pixels and measured link redirects, including measurement through previously sent tracking links.
Statistics
Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 measurement load only after Statistics consent. Measurement can include page visits, referring pages, online identifiers, and interactions. Statistics processing is optional, not a condition of account registration or PRO. We do not describe GA4 measurement as guaranteed anonymous processing.
Marketing and affiliate attribution
Optional WooCommerce order attribution and Sourcebuster storage require Marketing consent. Statistics consent alone does not authorize them. Affiliate retailer links may carry a referral identifier when followed, without requiring an embedded tracker on the page. External retailers apply their own privacy and storage rules after you visit them.
Withdrawal and storage duration
The current Complianz choice cookies, including cmplz_statistics, cmplz_marketing, and cmplz_banner-status, are set for approximately one year. Updating a choice can renew that period. These browser cookie lifetimes do not establish how long an analytics provider keeps information already received.
Our controls stop future optional events after withdrawal and remove relevant first-party analytics/attribution identifiers where technically possible. They cannot retract previously sent data or remove storage owned by another domain. Necessary sessions, saved cookie choices, and different providers can have different lifetimes. Exact deployed cookie lifetimes, provider-side retention settings, and backup cycles still require the documented operational checks; this notice does not invent a universal period.
Embedded content may involve a third party when loaded and follows the relevant consent controls. Browser settings can also remove or block storage; blocking necessary cookies may prevent login or checkout. Newsletter consent is a separate email choice and is not granted by accepting Statistics or Marketing cookies.
