About this plant
Pink Princess is a sword-plant culture hybrid with relatively slender, smooth lance-shaped leaves and pink-toned growth. Aquarium Plants Factory explicitly uses Pink Amazon Sword for the same plant. Those names belong to one canonical profile, not separate records for potted and tissue-culture offers. Use it as a midground or background rosette with space for the leaf tips to remain visible. Pink intensity and the contrast of new leaves vary with conditions and maturity. Keep the growing crown clear of substrate and judge establishment from new underwater leaves rather than the colour of the nursery-grown shipment. Plant the roots in an adequately nourished substrate while leaving the crown at its surface. Allow room for the rosette rather than using the dimensions of a nursery pot as its final footprint. Remove unwanted outer leaves at their base. Balanced root-zone nutrition supports establishment; it does not guarantee a particular colour. Emergent leaves can be replaced underwater. Where flower-stalk plantlets develop, allow them to form roots before separating them. Care ranges, where supplied, describe reported cultivation conditions rather than measured lethal limits. Width and nutrient concentrations are left unspecified where no defensible form-specific values are available.
